In case of wildfire, you need to make sure that you and your family receive emergency evacuation instructions.  You MUST sign up for your county's emergency alert system  to receive evacuation alerts.  ​

By leaving early, you give your family the best chance of surviving a wildfire.   You also help emergency personnel by keeping roads clear of congestion.   ​

You should go to a predetermined location and make sure you have several travel routes in case your evacuation route is blocked.    Make sure to take your "Go Bag" with you.

ROTARY WILDFIRE READY 

Rotary Wildfire Ready is a community-based project designed to increase wildfire awareness and education, and to help make our mountain communities safer from the threat of wildfire.    Rotary Wildfire Ready is funded through the Evergreen Rotary Foundation which is a 501(3)(c) Colorado nonprofit and is comprised of a working group that includes:
